Built on the HP Indigo 6K digital press, HP engineered the new HP Indigo 6K+ for versatile digital label production. The press is making its debut at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, Spain.

Based on the HP Indigo 6K, the HP Indigo 6K+ has been designed to meet printers’ needs. HP has installed over 2,300 6K presses globally to date, as well. The new press maintainins the HP standards of quality and versatility. The HP Indigo 6K+ also maximizes productivity through the new SmartControlSystem and intelligent automation tools.

The HP Indigo 6K+ introduces advancements in AI-powered tools, automation, scalability, and press robustness. Designed for maximum uptime, the HP Indigo 6K+ also features a future-ready platform. This enables converters to stay ahead in a rapidly changing marketplace. HP launches the press globally at the end of July 2025.

The HP Indigo 6K+ comes equipped with an advanced SmartControlSystem. HP designed this feature to improve diagnostics, uptime and press reliability for enhanced robustness. Converters can now also produce more jobs per shift while minimizing waste and reducing unplanned maintenance interruptions.

A suite of automation and AI-powered tools powers the HP Indigo 6K+ with optimized production efficiency. This occurs through the HP PrintOS Suite, Automatic Alert Agent 2.0 (AAA 2.0), HP Spot Master, and HP Nio, too. The latest innovations empower operators with real time insights, shorter setup, intuitive troubleshooting, and automated color management. In addition, these developments make the HP Indigo 6K+ an ideal solution for converters facing workforce challenges.
